Description
Development of Warbarons was started in November 2009 by Mattias Carlström and Jonte Rydberg.The initial goal was a simple remake of a classic strategy game called Warlords released in the early ninties for Amiga and PC.The idea came about when we developed other web sites using more and more javascript and constantly joking with each other that anything can be done in javscript.
After the Beta 2 release in June 2010 we realised that we could take this idea further than we originaly set out to.We found two freelance graphics artists, Greg taylor and Viktor Jung who we hired to create professional game graphics for us.We started looking on what we can do with this idea. The base is good but it's based on an old game and other strategy games have brought newideas to the table.
